I recall Benson from another site. There were two guys who would constantly neg rep him. One was (I think) named Duck615. The other guy had a crapload of accounts--like Clown Crusher, Polo Grounds, Big Potatoes, and a bunch of others.
Anyhow, negging someone would put that user's reputation in the red. They'd have a big red mark. Not a big deal to me, but it was to them. There were three users who incessantly got negged: Benson, a guy named vegas giant, and an old woman named Phoenix 68.
Those three negged users would make threads complaining about it. A moderator named Skippy 38 tried to stop the negging and would ban users like Clown Crusher. But the sock puppets kept coming and Skippy made his own whiny threads trying to stop the trolling. It was hilarious.
