Gee snow softens the impact and while reducing the friction as the body slide. not to mention the weather clothing for the cold temperatures. DAH! I had to drop my motorcycle at 45 to avoid a car dashing out in front of me on a rainy morning temp was about 40 degrees and the gear I had on let me slide without harm to me but my bike lost a mirror and the driver almost kept driving away then about another 100' he stop and got out.
I was so mad at him I told him to get the **** out of my sight for his sake. then I got up and got back on the bike and drove to work. Event over and done. Cost me 20 bucks for a new mirror and I lived with the scrapes on the old bike. Life goes on.
