nothing like making bad decisions in life...especially when you are so sure it's coming
position yourself as it is coming

Looking at META and ORCL to begin their "Eve" pattern

Overall I expect a very sharp move down once these risky asset groups finish their sequence

I used to be part of a private Discord group that posted dark pools, unusual flow, etc. but I just rely on pure TA / intuition now.nefarious101 » 16 Jan 2026, 12:01 pm » wrote: ↑ Been checking the dark pool using the "most unusual" trades for most of my recent bets trying to stay within a 60-90 day time frame
Recently 7 of 8 in the green on short term deals
did some calls on OII yesterday.....dropped to a dime so I loaded up for a double by the end of the day
Someone who evidently knew something brought big...a very unusual trade, so I jump in too...didn't think it would pop that quick tho....going back in for more now...if the price is right
And final note...since you are obviously experienced at this...nefarious101 » 16 Jan 2026, 12:01 pm » wrote: ↑ Been checking the dark pool using the "most unusual" trades for most of my recent bets trying to stay within a 60-90 day time frame

There is less than 20% of the human global population that lives in the western hemisphere of this planet north and south of the equator. 88% of global population lives in the northern hemisphere between international dateline and Greenwich Prime Meridian.Fuelman » 16 Jan 2026, 10:35 am » wrote: ↑ My guess, the increase in wealth gap.
As long as the top 20% keep buying, no need to lower prices.

I believe Cipher Mining should top somewhere in the 34-40 range before it begins a massive drawdown. Lots of consolidation time and I'm using a 2 - 2.272 Extension of the recent upward pattern

Often times the whales just follow each other and get bagged. I tried following whales and ended up breaking even after 10 trades so I decided my efforts were better spent just doing the homework myself.
As for time frame, the best trades since the beginning of the 2023 bull market have all required 1 yr+ holds (Rigetti, AST Spacemobile, Applovin, Palantir Technologies, Robinhood, Oklo, and many more) which I unfortunately failed to capitalize on as my holding periods were too short.
Trust the TA but hold for longer...that's th3 #1 lesson since I started trading in 2024. I would be close to retirement if I did that instead of humming along with "beating the market by a large margin but not amazing" results.
However, 60-90 days is the right play in this environment as the "bull market" is on its last sprint.
