Behind his scenes that he likely refused to look at, the transportation industry is hemorrhaging jobs as our economy slows.  I am sure it caused tension at the facility.

The man is in the middle of his career with three kids and is in the ring of the family circle.  We may have to end up helping him get through however we can.  It could be tough for him to find a new place, especially in trucking.

The job I was chasing in town seems to have been filled or is not needed anymore.  I am concerned that outfit is starting to feel the slowdown.

My small town lost half of its jobs in 2025.  We are headed to a painful spot in my opinion.

There were too many Americans working.

Something had to be done, and now G*d is very pleased.

I was in construction my whole life (heavy equip operator) and Truck drivers are the dumbest people on the planet. We looked down on them for good reason. Dumb as rocks.

I'd be packing the family up and move, a miracle won't happen. Look for a town or city in the 60k-150k population range, preferably in fly over country.

Excellent point... I detect the sympathetic victimhood card here...his wife's been on him axing about how many resumes he's sent out, yet he's here all of the time...

I am not sure the specifics of how he lost his job, but his wife works with him on Fridays and said he really has become unhinged.
I guess he couldn't face his MAGA reality very well..  Evidently he was trying to be like Junior with the Nose Candy. The number of trucks is steadily decreasing going through the place.
He escaped his reality too much and lost touch with it evidently.

He is  double agent evangelical and he is for sure over MAGAmpliflied.

Some people never leave their home town no matter how bad it gets. It does get harder the older you get to move. I moved to other states at age 50 & 60.

I just tell the wife to go work more! :ninja:

It sounds like your town is about to be a ghost town. Where is it?

Sounds like Bryson tx.
Modus operandi? Move in. Destroy town. Find another place to destroy after that.
