Which explains why they keep manipulating the numbers, it makes no difference which side of the same Uniparty coin is actually in power. At the last FOMC presser, even Powell stated that they believe the actual monthly "job creation" was at around MINUS 20K
This is true. Plenty of loopholes exist in the system.Filing for unemployment has NOTHING TO DO WITH JOBS.
If a president told BLS to start reporting accurate statistics during his term, he would immediately be the worst-performing president in history.

An increase in productivity results in doing more with less employees. Wasn't that in Econ 101?LowIQTrash » 23 Jan 2026, 2:43 am » wrote: ↑ According to R "Eggplant" Suave, the Orange Pedo has certainly fixed the problem of "too many Americans working."

Well, I DID take econ 101, and it told me that better productivity = more profits = more job creation by the wealthy.Fuelman » 23 Jan 2026, 9:36 am » wrote: ↑ An increase in productivity results in doing more with less employees. It's the new normal.
U.S. labor productivity (nonfarm business sector) has shown a strong, recent surge, growing at an annualized rate of 4.9% in Q3 2025, with a 2.4% increase in the second quarter of 2025. For the current business cycle since late 2019, productivity has increased at a 1.8% annual rate, which is higher than the previous 2007–2019 cycle (1.5%).

So the OP is correct to smirk and sneer at anyone dumb enough to believe that, since it is manifestly false.
As false as my claim to have taken econ 101, but I lied for truthful reasons.
So even when the job totals for the month far exceeded the 50,000 new jobs that were predicted by the "experts", AND payrolls (which means wages) have increased by $69,000, AND our 3rd quarter GDP increased at a 'blistering" pace of 4.3%, you stupid liberals STILL think Trump's economic policies are "making the problem worse", huh?LowIQTrash » 23 Jan 2026, 2:43 am » wrote: ↑ According to R "Eggplant" Suave, the Orange Pedo has certainly fixed the problem of "too many Americans working."

Both you and CP would do well with an introductory course in Economics 101. At least he ADMITS he has no education whatsoever in the subject.U.S. GDP grew at a blistering 4.3% pace in the third quarter
CBS News By Mary Cunningham December 23, 2025
The U.S. economy grew at a robust 4.3% annual pace in the third quarter, marking the strongest growth in two years, according to new government data released Tuesday.
The growth in gross domestic product — the nation's output of goods and services — between July and September far outstripped the forecast for 3% growth, according to economists polled by financial data firm FactSet. The latest figure, released by the Commerce Department, also reflects a healthy jump from the second quarter's annualized growth of 3.8%.

ANYONE that invests in the market (stocks, bonds, etc) are in effect JOB CREATORS because even if they might be 3rd party to the company, they still have funds invested in the success of those companies. They succeed with GROWTH because of those funds.

When people INVEST in companies, that means companies are profitable AND people are working. MOST LIKELY that same company is expanding and growing, which means more jobs, better paying jobs, and other benefits you seem to not like too much.
Pretty much any company experiencing growth, pays higher wages in order to attract more workers needed to expand, existing workers seeing promotions into higher paying jobs to train new workers and manage operations.
What you don't seem to understand is that wealthy people INVEST their funds and that creates more $$ for companies to grow and expand. When shareholders get paid, that's the reward for allowing YOUR MONEY to be used for POTENTIAL profits.
Since you hate that, give up your retirement and 401K plan. Because that's ALSO being used to fund more companies growth and to PAY TOUR PLAN FOR YOUR BENEFIT!!
