No one actually knows what Rosenbaum intended. Rittenhouse admitted that he pointed his rifle at him. Rosenbaum might have intended simply to disarm a dangerous man.The acquittal means that the person holding the gun gets to decide who lives and who dies.

You see this ^^^ Right there. The operative word is "might." There is no wondering in the moment. An attack is an attack. Is there any evidence that Rittenhouse had mind reading abilities? There is no way he would know what his intentions were, other than what he was faced with. He was faced with a guy charging him. Period.

I am not defending the response of ICE toward Pretti. I am saying that if the female protestor didn't agitate ICE, then Pretti would be alive.
