If you were some how able to graduate from HS "on time" with the rest of your class mates, the school system did you a disservice. 
You are living proof that the system just "pushes the slow kids through" instead of forcing them to repeat the school year.
If the system had put you into  "special education status" as soon as it became obvious that you were slower than the rest of your classmates, you might not have ended up looking as stupid as you do right now.
