Here’s what is publicly known
Contributing Governments (via the Board of Peace)
The Board of Peace is meant to be a multinational body supervising Gaza’s reconstruction. The U.S. administration has reportedly sought financial contributions from countries that join the board, including proposals — at least in draft form — for states to pay about $1 billion each for extended membership or participation.
Some countries — like the United Arab Emirates — have already pledged specific sums for reconstruction projects under the Board’s framework (e.g., ~$1.5 billion earmarked for “New Rafah” development).
Because the Board includes states like Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey, and others, the implication is that host governments would be key financing sources, though exact commitments and timelines are not yet fully public.
Participating countries have already pledged financial contributions without direct solicitation by the U.S. government.
Kushner has indicated that private investors will be the biggest part of the financing strategy. He has talked about an upcoming Washington event where private-sector contributions — from corporations, investment funds, and development banks — would be announced.
