A “15‑point blue shift” huh? Really? That’s the kind of number people throw out when they’re hoping nobody actually checks the data. Every real analysis of elections since 2024 shows states shifting right, not delivering some magical +15 surge for Democrats. If you’ve got evidence, feel free to bring it out of whatever fantasy league you pulled that stat from — because the people who track elections for a living haven’t seen anything even remotely close.JohnnyYou » 21 Feb 2026, 4:51 am » wrote: ↑ 15 Point Blue Shift on average in every election since Nov 2024.

Every part of that 2025 “Democrats swept everything” storyline falls apart the second you compare it to actual election calendars. There were no 2025 gubernatorial elections in Virginia or New Jersey, no Virginia House landslide, no New Jersey supermajority flip, and New York City didn’t even have a mayoral race — let alone one involving Zoran Mamdani. If someone wants to claim Democrats flipped 21% of GOP seats or over‑performed in Arizona and Tennessee, they need to point to real election results, not a fan‑fiction recap of races that never happened.JohnnyYou » 21 Feb 2026, 7:01 am » wrote: ↑ Sole's Girfriend is reluctant to discuss the subject. I am listening to Erik Erikson this morning again./. I heard him Last Saturday early.. He was the inspiritation for "The Book Of Trumpelations" He is not opposed to looking inward and seeing what the **** is wrong with Republicans. You have no such capability.... DUMP THE TRUMP SLUMP 2026..

Regarding the 2025 US elections, Democrats achieved notable successes in off-year and special elections, though these did not involve the Presidency or a full Congress:
State-Level Victories: Democrats flipped 21% of Republican-held legislative seats contested in 2025. This included securing their largest majority in the Virginia House since the 1980s and winning a supermajority in the New Jersey Assembly.
Gubernatorial Wins: Democratic candidates won landslide victories in both New Jersey and Virginia, where Abigail Spanberger became Virginia's first female governor.
Special Congressional Elections: Democratic candidates consistently outperformed 2024 presidential margins in special elections held throughout the year, including districts in Arizona and Tennessee.
Mayoral Races: In New York City, Zoran Mamdani won the mayoral race, highlighting a successful, unapologetically left-wing campaign strategy.

While Bill Gates has historically supported Democratic causes—including a reported $50 million donation to a pro-Harris PAC in 2024—he often maintains a public stance of political neutrality to ensure his foundation can work with any administration. In early 2025, he expressed a commitment to "prioritize whoever is elected" to continue advancing global health and innovation goals.
