It will probably knock more MAGAts out of the polls than sane Americans who value their ability to go to cast a ballot.
The stupid of MAGA is astounding.

The SAVE Act, or Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act, is a proposed federal law aimed at ensuring that only U.S. citizens can register and vote in federal elections. It requires voters to provide documentary proof of citizenship, such as a passport or birth certificate, at the time of registration. The act has been introduced in the 119th Congress and remains stalled in the Senate as of early February 2026. It is designed to prevent noncitizen voting and has been supported by House Republicans, despite ongoing debates about attaching it to government funding legislation. The act's implementation could have unintended consequences for election officials and could disenfranchise millions of eligible voters.
post the rationale for this legislation
I will stop more idiot MAGAts from voting you stupid bed full of poop.
I had a California and Maryland ID at one time. I could have voted for Hillary twice. I didn't. I did vote online remote from California in Maryland in 2016.MR-7 » 15 Feb 2026, 1:02 pm » wrote: ↑ So the regulations will make it harder for EVERYONE to vote.. The rationale is straightforward. The SAFE Act forces states to verify citizenship using the federal databases they already have access to.Ssome states rely on honor‑system paperwork that can’t actually confirm whether someone is a citizen. The Act closes that gap. It doesn’t block eligible voters it blocks ineligible ones from slipping through because a state never checked. If you’re a citizen, you vote. If you’re not, you don’t. That’s the entire point and pretending that verification is somehow ‘controversial’ just exposes who hasn’t read the bill as usual you Slack-Jawed ****.

What evidence can you present to show non citizens voting in national elections?MR-7 » 15 Feb 2026, 1:59 pm » wrote: ↑ The rationale is straightforward. I think in general people who vote democrat are much smarter than toothless red hats. They are the cream of the crop of stupid. And it appears from 2025 elections about 15% of the 2024 MAGA Voters have figured out they made a horrible choice for POTUS. Nearly every election has seen a blue shift of 15 points.from 2024 counts..nefarious101 » 15 Feb 2026, 2:27 pm » wrote: ↑ LOL....Hey DEI Johnny...
