I drink very little milk. But I buy it for the family.DeezerShoove » 17 Feb 2026, 8:38 am » wrote: ↑ Where do you find decent raw milk? The reasons behind keeping that off the shelves in stores are generally sound, so, finding a "trusted source" seemed to be a bit of a task.
I don't drink it and haven't actually searched... but, I hear things...![]()

How much do you consume in a week's time? I'd like to give some pointers to a person who suffers from some digestive issues; one being gluten intolerance.
Thanks. I will follow up on this.Cannonpointer » 17 Feb 2026, 11:07 pm » wrote: ↑ I drink very little milk. But I buy it for the family.
Mennonites.
Raw milk does not spoil any faster than pasteurized. But it still has nutritional value. Pasteurized, not so much.DeezerShoove » 17 Feb 2026, 11:18 pm » wrote: ↑ Thanks. I will follow up on this.
I don't shy away from milk but I get organic whole milk that costs twice as much.
A half gallon takes at least ten days to consume. I should actually monitor that some day out of curiosity.
So, I wonder if I get raw milk, would half of it spoil before I got to it?
By the way, the best way to beat so-called gluten intolerance is to buy your flour from Italy. I get mine for five bucks a kilo. I think.DeezerShoove » 17 Feb 2026, 8:38 am » wrote: ↑ Where do you find decent raw milk? It's just like American flour, but without the poison.
Say Wheat??DeezerShoove » 18 Feb 2026, 8:48 am » wrote: ↑ I saw a vid on netflix (that leftie movie company) about wheat. It's a 10-11 year old "documentary".
Interesting nonetheless. Soil depletion, poisons, cross-pollination, etc.
It ain't our daddy's wheat no more.
No really new info as far as I was concerned but it served as a reminder.
The one very important thing that was missed (which ruins the credibility for me quite a bit) was in the processing of flour. We used to use iodine in the manufacturing of wheat flour up until the 1950's. Whatever iodine does to the process could be done simpler or cheaper or whatever using bromine.
Iodine is used and needed by the human body. Bromine is actually the opposite. It can **** with the thyroid.
The bread I eat is made with unbrominated flour. Nonbrominated? However that's said...
This is a crucial component and contributor to the string of shadowy tortures we endure.
As much as that trace amount of iodine helps us, that trace amount of bromine works in exactly the wrong way.
They don't intentionally add bromine as a needed supplement in anything. Iodine? Yup.
