The Gallup Presidential Approval Rating has for decades been the among the top barometers cited by media outlets measuring public opinion of the president’s performance.

President Trump has seen his rating by the agency slip in recent months, peaking at 47 percent last February and dipping to less than 37 percent in its last poll taken in December

https://thehill.com/homenews/media/5733 ... ngs-polls/

It's kinda like Covid and Jobs data....it's better in adjectives....
HOW STUPID can you be ?

MOST of those Presidential polls have an "Approve", "Disapprove", and "Don't Know" component... and even if it's ONLY Approve" & "Disapprove"... there is ALWAYS a "Don't Know" vote component rolling around in there, among the voters, somewhere.

A few weeks ago Democrats were ADVERTISING another poll that had Trumps approval rate at 43%... BUT, if you read a little further, you found that the SAME POLL had the Democrat Party at 32%, and "Don't Know" at 25% !   THAT kinda flips the script on the entire Democrat narrative !!

Bottom line, Trump has been doing a LOT of the dirty work over the last year that NEEDED to be done...  over the NEXT 6-8 months we will SEE how Trumps plans have worked out... and the initial reports look PROMISING... and if I were YOU... I would be looking at what the Democrat approval ratings are... BECAUSE even NOW, the Democrats are ONLY being OBSTRUCTIONISTS, and FIGHTING to keep IDIOT & CORRUPT policies that they initiated in the past, from being terminated... EVEN NOW... I would bet their approval ratings are worse than Trumps...
AND, Trumps NEW POLICIES are only NOW beginning to bear FRUIT !!

AMERICA, and AMERICANS, NEED to WAKE up… There is NOTHING “Democratic” about the CURRENT American “Democrat Party”! THEY are more an amalgamation of Totalitarian Marxists, Socialists, Communists, and Globalists… who are BENT on TAKING, and then KEEPING power... & where ultimately the American PEOPLE will have NO SAY AT ALL in how we are GOVERNED... and our "Democracy" will be DEAD!!

Hillary was sure counting on them!

And then when she gets her *** handed to her, this:

Hillary Clinton dismissed President Trump as an “illegitimate president” and suggested that “he knows” that he stole the 2016 presidential election in a CBS News interview to be aired Sunday.

For a "self proclaimed math expert", I'm surprised you are not aware statistical extrapolation is garbage most of the time.

Sampling errors and bias ends up with garbage out and happens frequently.

I don't have much faith in a process that "samples idiots" and their feelings!

Gallup is on to other priorities but I know you are furiously working that "dot connecter". Is there a Jew involved?

19 points underwater was the best Trump could do on four polls on CNN today. Lowest was -26 points.

Honestly, I used to visit Gallup but they changed the format and you had to dig to find anything meaningful so they went curbside on radar anyway.

Note: In the final outcome, Donald Trump won the 2016 Electoral College, contrary to most major polling averages, including CNN's.

Did CNN clean up their act? Maybe, maybe not.

It's kinda like Covid and Jobs data....it's better in adjectives....
Presidential job approval “increasingly correlates with partisanship, and not indicators of economic confidence, robustness, or the future direction of the nation,” they concluded. “For now, the meaning of presidential approval at present appears to be a shortcut term for partisan predilections about the president.”

Small and Eisinger trace the disconnect to Barack Obama. And it continued during Trump’s first term, as he repeatedly sought to delegitimize the polls themselves.

Trump has also been vocal about polls he doesn’t like. In his first term, the president complained that Gallup “treats me horribly” and was “no friend of mine.” He sued a prominent Iowa pollster, J. Ann Selzer, after her poll showed Democrat Kamala Harris leading in the state by 3 percentage points just before Election Day. (She lost by 13. Trump dropped the lawsuit after Selzer successfully defended a similar complaint, but then refiled in state court.)

And last month — shortly before Gallup’s decision became known — Trump said he would “do everything possible” to keep bad polling from being released. “Fake and Fraudulent Polling should be, virtually, a criminal offense,” he wrote in a Jan. 26 post on his social media site.

Without Gallup’s numbers providing a consistent signal, Trump — or any president, for that matter — is even more free to cherry pick the numbers that look best for them. The Gallup poll was consistently in the low range of Trump polls, weighing down the averages — so its departure from the space will give Trump a microscopic bounce in the averages.

“The highest Poll Numbers I have ever received,” Trump posted earlier this month as his approval hit 42.6% in the RealClearPolitics average. “Obviously, people like a strong and powerful Country, with the best economy, EVER!”
