She also happens to be a gossip columnist who was promoting a book about all the times she claimed that she has been raped.....
Going public right away would have been the natural thing for a NYC Gossip Columnist to do in order to boost her career...but she wasn't raped and so she didn't dare file a false report so soon for fear of Trump having a rock solid alibi.
Notice that Carrol's team coached her to be extremely vague as to when the supposed rape took place.
Of course ..they did not want to give Trump the opportunity to prove he was nowhere near the clothing store on the date and time the rape supposedly happened.
