I stopped watching the NFL, particularly in the first half of the season because it became boring.  And more importantly Baseball was in the playoff run, Cup racing was on, International Football, like the Premiere league was back, and  hockey was back.

I talked about it but IT IS not why I stopped watching, dum dum.  I notice you are starting your not so subtle shift away from saying it was the reason I stopped watching, *******.

My stance on it was it was up to his team (his employer) to make the decision.  He was on company time.  I thought it was disrespectful but I really didn't care.

It is like with the Women's Soccer team.  They said some dumb ****.  But I still watched and rooted for them.
