Those middle 50% are going to get buttfuKKed really hard once they realize everything is going to get CUT. Medicare will have to reduce costs, Medicaid will have far more stringent requirements, etc.

The only "good" HC plans I have EVER seen are those afforded to military members (military hospitals, not VA) and Congressional health plans (equivalent of Gold Plans via Obamacare, except they don't have to pay $1200/month).

well, in the area where I live, there used to be 4 major healthcare providers in a mini metro of 100k plus a lot of independents...the ACA either forced a lot to close or merge. today, there's one running the show that wasn't even in the original fray with few independents left that continue to get snapped up or have become "affiliated" with...hence, zero competition...and yes, inflation does play a major factor, however, without competition, they pretty much charge what they can get away with...

Free market healthcare means:

1) If you can't pay, you need to rely on charity (or get fukt'ed)

2) Doing away with 80-95% of government subsidies / payments

3) Cash or credit at point of service rather than routing everything through insurance companies (Creating the vast corporate bureaucracy)

4) Breaking up all the monopolies and oligopolies / greatly easing restrictions (e.g. how many doctors can be enrolled in med school per year, who is allowed to issue prescriptions, etc.)

It would certainly lower my premiums which would make me happy.       ... there is that "pesky" question about ethics, however...
