Response:  From October 1 to November 12, 2025, the federal government of the United States was shut down as the Democrat Party REFUSED to pass the appropriations legislation for the 2026 fiscal year... because a super majority (60 votes) was required, and the the Republican majority is only 54... DEMOCRATS decided to SHUT DOWN the governemt which DIRECLY impacted the GDP for the Q4 of 2025 !!  Tariffs, had NOTHING to do with the decline ! 

NOTE:  Lets see what Q1 of 2026 looks like ...although there is still a "Partial Shut Down" going on (ALSO thanks to the SCUMBAG Democrats)... BUT, it's a partial shut down... AND it will be SUBSTANTIALLY less of an impact.. and a better result in Q1-2026.  Democrats shutting down the government in 2025-Q4 and THEN blaming Republicans because the GDP was down slightly?  THIS IS LAUGHABLE, it's DISHONEST, and it's a SCUMBAG TRICK !!  BUT THEN... Response:  Trumps tariffs fell into 3 buckets... 1) IEEFA Tariffs (approx. 70%),  2) Section 232 or 301 of Trade Expansion Act of 1962 Tariffs— "to impose tariffs on imports that he deems a threat to national security", and...  3) Section 338 of the Tariff Act of 1930... aka "Smoot Hawlwy Tarriffs" !

Trumps Tarrifs fell into THOSE 3 Buckets... with approx. 70% under the IEEFA Tariffs, approx 15% under Section 232 or 301 Tariffs, and approx 15% under Section 338 Tariffs... The IEEFA Tariffs comprise 70% but were apparently the LEAST important tariffs to the U.S. (and was THE LEAST "SCOTUS CHALLANGED" Tariff law)... the remaining Tariffs... and as I understand it, were the MOST CRITICAL tariffs, and were authorized under EITHER the Section 232 or 301, or 338 tariffs... THEY are ALREADY Building the plants to BRING THEM HERE, and it is a TAX on foreign suppliers (NOT US consumers)... EXCEPT if the foreign suppliers decide to PUSH the tariffs onto American consumers, AND American consumers decide to BUY the over priced product... OTHERWISE... It's an incentive for Americans to BUY American !!

I have it on good authority that the Court's ruling is a DISGRACE. I am very ashamed of some of those justices. I sure hope Trump puts a ten percent tariff on the entire world. And when he does, I hope none of the mouth breathers on this board are smart enough to understand that it is they - not the world - who pay those tariffs, 

Very, VERY few of the conjobs will disappoint me in that hope. I've already had two of the queerest ones INSIST that Chyna has to pay the tariffs.
