as far as real life friendships there are many magites I know who I dare not say anything baaad about trump but I don't hold against them if they like trump. people who like trump tho will drop friendships with people who don't like trump.

It's anecdotal so it really can't be proved by anything I post. You could call it lies no matter what.
But...

In a few words I will say this. I have lost friends for the slightest of things over the lib/con clash thing.
In some cases, the libs will take a single comment or action and freeze me out forever.
A specific example: A friend of many years and I were golfing. As the day warmed up and I peeled a layer off I revealed a joke Obama t-shirt. That was on the ninth hole. He barely spoke a word to me the remainder of the round. I have not heard from him since. That has been years...
Conversely, I have been deeply offensive to some conservatives about religion and abortion. We are still friends to this day.

Was my post a lie? That was real life. My experience... just as I said.
There are more than just these examples, but that's enough to make the point.

You are most likely quite a snowflake yourself. IMO.
