Did Russia stop Ukraine from joining NATO?

The alliance rejected Russia's demand to keep Ukraine out of NATO forever, saying this would go against its "open-door policy" and the right of countries to choose their own security. It pointed out that Russia had signed agreements affirming the right of Ukraine and other countries to join alliances.

Why can't you admit the fact that your demented idiot Biden CAUSED this war with his stupid mouth?
Didn't Biden incorrectly state that the people of Ukraine COULD DECIDE FOR THEMSELVES if they wanted to join NATO, when that was PRECISELY what Russia said would cause them to invade?
And isn't it ALSO a fact that the ONLY way that ANY country could join NATO is by AN INVITATION FROM EXISTING NATO MEMBERS, REGARDLESS of what the people of any country wanted?

THAT'S why Biden alone is responsible for causing this war that has now lasted 5 years and killed hundreds of thousands!
Take a bow, fool!  That's the Alzheimer's patient that YOU voted for!

----------------------------------------------------------------------Some conservative members of Donald Trump's "Make America Great Again" movement have reacted angrily to the president's plans to sell weapons to Nato, arguing it is a betrayal of his promise to end US involvement in foreign wars.On Monday, Trump said he would send weapons to Ukraine via Nato, while also threatening Russia with more tariffs if a deal to end the war is not reached in 50 days.Republican Congresswomen Marjorie Taylor Greene, a key Trump ally, and former Trump strategist Steve Bannon are among those who have criticised the decision, with Bannon telling his podcast listeners that Ukraine is a "European war".The White House has emphasised that Europe will pay for the US-made weapons. In an interview with the New York Times, Greene - an isolationist member of Congress from Georgia who has been one of the most loyal Trump supporters on Capitol Hill - said the move was at odds with what she had promised voters on the campaign trail."

I always said ukraine should not  join nato or even try from the beginning. I have no loyalty to biden unlike you who would die on train tracks to protect trump.

I said many many times russia has a right to not want nato on it's borders and ukraine should not join nato.

stop accusing me of something I did not do.

republicans saw the war in ukraine as a way to weaken russia and were all for sending weapons to ukraine.

Speaking of you being too stupid to be fed, check this out:
1. Continue to fail to debunk my media comment.

Cry to Deezer.
Ok BV. Let's compare our definitions of Survivorship Bias and why yours is as useless as you. - Liberal Forum Political Chat Room

Deal:
Deal: Veghead claimed he already answered this question. LOL. If Veghead proves that he did indeed answer the survivorship multiple choice question below, as the question is written and asked, along with his defense of his answer, then I will agree to never come back. I am permabanned. Gone. Like a fart in the wind. If he cannot, then he is out of here for a month. Additionally, his defense cannot be "Because it fits my definition." That is a claim, not a defense. He is to defend why.  His evidence must precede the timestamp upon when this challenge has been agreed upon by both parties. Moreover, he must answer immediately when the mods say "go," That next post. Not the next 600 posts. Either Cannon or Deezer mods.

Exception: I will allow for an exception. If he loses, then I will allow him to stay if he answers it the way it is asked, along with his defense. However, he must do it immediately after the deal has been decided. Not 100 posts later. The very next post of his must be his answer/defense.
Which scenario is an example of survivorship bias in evaluating business success?

A) Believing that reading business books increases revenue after finding many CEOs recommend them.
B) Concluding that most startups fail after analyzing bankrupt companies.
C) Thinking entrepreneurship is easy because most media profiles focus on successful founders.
D) Surveying customers to understand why they chose your product over competitors

What does it matter what YOU say about Ukraine joining NATO?  Putin doesn't listen and act on what YOU say, it acted based on what the idiot YOU VOTED FOR says about THE UKRAINIAN PEOPLE deciding if they wanted to join NATO!
So did you vote for Biden or not?  Are you admitting now that you'd like to wash your hands of that vote like Pontius Pilate?

And now that it's gone on for 5 years, you want to try to make the claim that REPUBLICANS wanted that war, despite the fact that Trump has stated repeatedly that Russia would NEVER have invaded if HE were president at the time!

Of course, NOW you want to try to rewrite history!  And I have no doubt whatsoever that when Trump finally negotiates a peace deal between them, YOU'LL STILL CRITICIZE HIM FOR DOING SO, especially if Trump does that before the midterm elections, when you'll no doubt claim that he only did so to help Republicans win the majorities in Congress once again!

And what happened to BOTH MTG and Bannon, genius?  Bannon is no longer an advisor, and MTG has quit Congress!
NATO SHOULD pay to buy the weapons Ukraine needs, which Biden should have done as well!  But by giving hundreds of billions directly to Ukraine as he did, Biden was able to include a nice kickback of tens of millions that Biden extorted and skimmed off the top, which was quickly placed in foreign off-shore bank accounts for himself and his entire corrupt family!  And you dumb liberals are too stupid to see that!

And what's so wrong about Trump using economic sanctions and tariffs to put pressure on Russia to end the war, which he didn't start?  Abandoning Ukraine as MTG wanted would have been the worst possible decision once the war had begun, primarily because the US had convinced Ukraine that we would protect them if they gave up their nukes when the Soviet Union collapsed.  So I've got no problem with Trump using every means at his disposal to stop that war.

NOW, Trump has the chance to make the changes needed in the ME to bring peace and prosperity to the region and **** nuts are in a knoit.

And th entire purpose is to AVERT A NUCLEAR WAR that I can assure you, WOULD HAVE HAPPENED if Iran got nukes.

And how does it matter WHAT the Republican views are?  Would a unified opinion of Republicans stop Russia?  Are there any Democrats who DON'T want a "swift end to the conflict"?  Is it your claim that Democrats are united on that opinion, or do you just have a desire to keep yapping nonsense like there's "a growing recognition of Russia as an adversary"?  DUH!  YA THINK???

You certainly qualify for the Kamala Harris Word Salad award for saying nothing so enthusiastically!
