this whole mess is because christians cling to the old testament where God tells people to stone people to death even though Christ said it  was wrong and God is not a vengeful tyrant................ 'if you see me, you see the father.'

if christians disavowed the old testament the way Christ wanted  them to then maybe other people would listen.
