I feel awful. I also feel awful for the service members who lost their lives, four so far. It is disheartening to think that this could have been entirely prevented. Both you and I cast our votes for the President whose campaign slogan was America First, focusing on reducing prices and securing the border (well done on that front) and, of course, avoiding wars. Do you recall how the National Republican Party depicted Trump and his vice-president, JD Vance, as the 'pro-peace ticket'? In 2023, while Vance was still vying for the position of Trump’s running mate, he penned a Wall Street Journal op-ed titled, 'Trump’s Best Foreign Policy? Not Starting Any Wars.'
