That's where my brother went to boot camp.

Don't know if they still do but decades ago, before my time, those that graduated Parris Island laughed at the west coast guys, calling them Hollywood Marines.

I wouldn't mess with them no matter where they trained.

The structure was effectively a large trailer with little aerial defense.

This isn't about me.  he is about you talking point about the makeshift command center.  In war, Options, you don't always have the options of completely fortified C&Cs, or anything for that matter.

It's not "BS".

Any US asset is "fair play"....and anything within reach of Iranian missiles or drones is a target.

We decided to sink one of their ships in the Indian Ocean.

For FOXfodder...

No ****, Options.  It is called war.

So, post your solution.  Or stop repeating what you have been told to think.

I guess in your world no war will be fought until EVERYTHING is fortified, which would signal the enemy an attack is coming.

Biden didn't pick that fight...

We don't alway's pick the fights we end up being responsible for.

And yes, Biden did choose that fight:

Yes, then-Senator Joe Biden voted in favor of the October 2001 Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF) that launched the war in Afghanistan
. As part of a 98-0 Senate vote just days after the 9/11 attacks, Biden supported the initial military action. He later opposed the 2009 troop surge

He also chose it when he decided to run for office.
