Child care fraud in Minnesota has become a subject of intense federal and state scrutiny, culminating in a significant funding freeze in late 2025 and early 2026 following viral video allegations and a history of overpayment issues. While a 2019 investigation suggested millions in fraudulent billing, recent allegations prompted by a YouTube video in December 2025 led to accusations of "industrial-scale" fraud, although many accused centers were found to be operating normally by state inspectors

The math of using $3.7 million Patriot missiles to shoot down Shahed drones costing $20,000 to $50,000 is brutal and unsustainable. In the past year, Ukraine developed interceptors costing as little as $1,000, but Washington didn’t bother to buy them. The U.S. military and the Gulf states are now rushing to do so.

Another U.S. vulnerability is its “magazine depth.” The military has top-of-the-line guided missiles but procures few of them. Last year the U.S. reportedly produced only 96 THAAD air-defense missiles, 54 Precision Strike Missiles and 57 Tomahawk cruise missiles. It will take years and billions of dollars to replenish stockpiles, leaving us less prepared for a conflict against Russia or China in the meantime.

I sure hope the 2$ Billion a Day number is coming down.

There is a quad copter bullet, goes like stink at 400 km/hr..   It could make for a cheap interceptor and I think I heard Ukraine has been working at it.

Takes of vertically, goes fast forward with an ounce of C4 in the nose.  The targeting solution is very difficult.  No human can do it through a POV camera from the ground.  It can loiter.  If it misses it can keep trying to hit something. Possibly even friendly aircraft.

Neccesity is the Mother of Invention.  200$ Barrels will bring awesome energy technology.  If the Oil O' Gharcs will let it happen.
