Did you receive a K-1 IRS form from the trust?

If so, it is taxed at your income rate.

Doesn't give much incentive to make a higher income, if so much of the income passes through our hands to the government.

We have never been in the 40% bracket but spent quite a few years in the 25% bracket. It sucks!

It's a life lesson, consider that the next time "fair share" comes up as a topic.

I don't know if all the proceeds were distributed from that trust. If not. I'd be talking to a tax professional.

He is angry. Seriously. When I watched him all I could see was rage. I really don't listen to him , but I have seen many clips. He got cooked hard by a feminist once on the whatever show. I mean she obliterated him. She brought up his wife and how she has been married three times with different kids. That set him off into orbit. Here is the thing. Andrew made his career off shaming women who have multiple kids and expecting other men to raise them. Yet, that is exactly what he is doing. She called him out on it. That is fair. I suppose I could go along with taxing the rich if I thought it might benefit me one thin dime, but it won't! Giving Congress more money is puke worthy.

Percentages don't pay the bills, dollars do. Bill Gates pays around $525 million annually. How much does that secretary pay?

Yeah, I saw that. I actually felt bad for him, even though he had it coming.

But a blogger's worst moment does not define him. He has had many star turns.
