I worked with Russians, Ukrainians, along with several from the former Soviet Bloc.
Never seen one that wished they'd never left...

I've no desire to visit just to say "I have seen it." So what?
Living there with no foreseeable future... That tells a real story.

People that visit can't really know a hell of a lot more than people who left there. Forever.

I have worked with former SU block folks.

An associate vacations in Slovenia..  He says the medicare 4 all and free education  has created a very happy environment..

Russia is not an enemy.. Putin is.

Just as Judaism  is not an enemy.  Bibi is..

I have always maintained the same. The citizenry is rarely the enemy.

Slovenia is likely a "nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there."
Stress in daily life is same as anywhere in Europe. Mistrust in government runs deep, too.
