Los Angeles County, once the symbol of American prosperity and Hollywood dreams, has earned the title of the nation's leader in population loss.
The latest U.S. Census data shows shows that between July 1, 2024, and July 1, 2025, 53,421 residents left the county, marking the largest decline in the U.S. Additionally, Los Angeles County has fallen from about 10 million residents in 2020 to roughly 9.7 million today.
"There is a real sense of burnout. They are paying insane taxes and getting absolutely nothing in return," RIVANI founder Robert Rivani — who has seen a big migration of companies moving their headquarters to his Miami building from California, including Playboy — told Fox News Digital. "People feel like they’re living in a place that’s draining them financially and in exchange they’re dealing with rising crime, shrinking services, and a sense that everyone around them is trying to leave too."
"When I moved my family and my company here, everyone thought I was crazy," Rivani continued. "They were convinced LA was going to bounce back and that the problems were temporary. I saw the writing on the wall, and Miami has proven over and over that we made the right call."
"It isn’t just one factor, it’s the breaking point phenomenon. The taxes, the lack of safety, the red tape," Compass' Chad Carroll also told Fox News Digital. The more granular you get with the statistics, the worse the problem is demonstrated to be.
The other half involves Replacement Theory, which the board's homosexual community shrieks is an alt-right mental illness - even as they help to push it. Yes, they are that stupid.
The real story is likely something like 300,000 producers left and 300,000 takers arrived. So it's even worse than the unexamined stats imply.

Consistently in the top 5. California households bring in 13.5% more than the national average.

I answered your question. It's time for you to panty dance away from mine.
DOES THE 13.5% ABOVE THE NATIONAL AVERAGE offset the higher cost of utilities (61% higher), gas (40% higher), and food (11% higher) compared to the national average?
And what about the cost of housing, which averages 2033 per month per person?
Okay, fruitcake. See ya.

Because there are so many, you are priced out.

I can assure you that there are places in the world where the cost of living is much higher than Cali and Manhattan, son, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Zurich consistently rank as the top three. None of those are in California.
So - you're not going to answer my question, as I answered yours?
Typical.
Keep bluffing, dummy. One quarter of California families participate in at least one major welfare program, including Medi-Cal or SSI. 30% struggle to make bills and are two paychecks from insolvency. California has the highest debt in the nation, with roughly 1.6 trillion in total state and local government liabilities—about 125,000 perhousehold.Blackvegetable » 02 Apr 2026, 7:28 pm » wrote: ↑ I just told you...it's not about peasants like you...
It's demographic top grading. It only takes 1 immigrant making 200k, to replace the "product" of 3 emigrants making 60k.
