Best Dog we ever had was asuper intelligent Pit. Black with Gold Brindle. He talked so much..
He and his brother (half sharpei/lab) started running the neighborhood and crossing the big road. There was a tragedy with a car. One of the most painful experiences in my life. We now have some sme containment with a fence.

You won't explain life in real time, so that means you never understood your time alive or you are a hostage of your own beliefs. Your brain doesn't navigate equally alive so how would you know what being equal was or should be living the life humanity legislated for you since birth?

But I admit that may be because I still enjoy a great sex life at 72.
And my wife and I adopted a 4 year old dog we rescued last year who is a real treasure.
The way we've brought her out of her timid, abused shell is wonderful to see and might provide you with a better perspective in your remaining years too.
