I'm making a couple of simple points..

A) There is no substance to an argument consisting of Trigger Terms, like
"California....High Speed Rail.....Billions.....Eeeeek!". 

This is true regardless of how reliably it evokes the appropriate response among the credulous.


B) In the absence of substance, the most rational way to examine the question is by gauging Utility and Opportunity Cost...or Loss.

I mean Utility in the formal, academic, sense.


Does that clear up any confusion?

1)  Light Rail to NO WHERE !
2)  Bridge to NO WHERE !
3)  Diversions of billions of gallons of fresh water into the sea (i.e. Delta Smelt), and has cost CA Taxpayers BILLIONS in HIGHER water prices !
4)  The Palisades Fire FIASCO (there has GOT to be FRAUD here... & 1yr.+ of NO ACTION !

AND, I LITERALLY don't think they have even BEGUN to scratch the surface !!
