As the judge said that is very misleading, implying it is unfair now. It wasn't. This is purely an attempt to interfere with the 26 and 28 elections in this state.
good for them

Oh, by the way, there s a bill being floated to congress to return Alexandria and Arlington, two northern cities in VA, back to DC.
Until 1846 both cities were part of DC and given to VA, There was not Constitutional provision to do so.
Look at you demanding an interstate freeway to involve yourself in every other state than your own. Stay in your own geographical area. Keep your ideology local to your own household and let the honest soles the freedom to live as eternally separated in plain sight without being governed by civic minded fools like yourself.jerra b » 26 Apr 2026, 1:21 pm » wrote: ↑ this is a national forum. if you want to bitch about va voters with no input from anyone else then find a forum for va only.

1) NOT ONLY did INTENTIONALLY by pass 3 other requirements, to EVEN get the vote on the ballot...
2) It CONFUSED the HELL out of voters with a Misleading and Biased ballot text,
3) It ALSO TRIED to take a 51% - 49% actual vote, and turn it into a 10-1 (90%) Democrat MAJORITY Representative Representation !
"TRUMP Courts"?
"Trump Courts" look out for "the Democracy" and the "Rights of VOTERS"...
While "Democrat Courts" are only trying to FABRICATE a Liberal Majority... "the Democracy be DAMNED" and "the Voters be DAMNED"... WHATEVER IT TAKES !!!

The justices’ decision does not necessarily mean they will ultimately rule that the passage of the referendum was unconstitutional under state law — as GOPers are arguing.

III §§ 3(c), 7) requires that state legislative districts be compact, contiguous, preserve political subdivisions, promote partisan fairness and competitiveness, and do not intentionally favor an incumbent, party, or candidate for office. For congressional districts, the state constitution (Art. III § 45) requires that they be compact and contiguous.Public InputPer the state constitution (Art. III §§ 3(3), 7), the redistricting commission must hold at least three public hearings to gather testimony and objections to the proposed map. Missouri’s state statutes (§ 127.030) further requires the establishment of a “Redistricting Public Comment Portal,” a website that facilitates the submission of public comments and maps.Huey » Yesterday, 2:00 pm » wrote: ↑ WASHINGTON — The Virginia Supreme Court on Tuesday let stand a temporary lower-court block on certification of a state referendum designed to give Democrats four more congressional seats.

https://missouriindependent.com/2026/03 ... tional/The gerrymandered congressional map pushed through the General Assembly by Republicans meets constitutional requirements for districts to be compact and contiguous, a Jackson County judge ruled Thursday. The decision from Circuit Judge Adam Caine is the third Missouri court ruling to reject a constitutional challenge to the plan intended to shift the 5th Congressional District to the Republican Party. In earlier rulings, Cole County Circuit Judge Christopher Limbaugh has upheld Gov. Mike Kehoe’s authority to convene the special session that passed the plan and the legislature’s power to enact it without a new census report.
