Memorial Day is not about us who served, it’s about them... The ones who stepped onto the bird and never stepped off. The ones whose families answered a knock no one ever wants to hear. Their lives were short. Their legacy is forever. And for those of us who wore the uniform, today hits different. We remember faces. We remember laughter. We remember the last time we saw them alive. We remember the silence that followed. So today, we honor them the only way that matters: By remembering. By speaking their names. 

They were the ones who stepped forward.... The ones who raised their right hand knowing full well that the cost could be everything. The ones who didn’t just wear the uniform...they carried it, with all the weight that comes with it. They were sons and daughters. Brothers and sisters. Mothers, fathers, friends, teammates, leaders. They were the best of us. And for those of us who served beside them...who knew their faces, their voices, their jokes, their families, it's personal. Today, and every day, we remember them. To the fallen Heros..........

Thank you. We remember. We will always remember.

We will be giving a tribute to our fallen democracy soon.  It is not good we are causing the starvation of neighbors.

Only one shipment of oil has been made it to the island since then, and Cuban Energy Minister Vicente de la O Levy said last week that the 730,000-barrel delivery from a Russian flagged-tanker had run out.

“We have absolutely no fuel (oil), and absolutely no diesel,” de la O Levy, said on state media.

That shortage, coupled with U.S. threats toward companies that attempt to do business with the country’s government, has pushed its electric system to the brink. Rolling blackouts have become more frequent in Havana,//////////

Israel has medicare for all. While not earmarked by our funding, it frees up the $4 Billion a year that it costs.

The veterans were on the radio yesterday.  Civil War PTSD's went to a Civil War  "Asylum" for treatment.   They discussed how "shell shocked" was what they called PTSD in WW1.
