The Trump administration’s immigration surge into US cities last year resulted in 668,000 job losses, creating a “chilling effect” that pervaded local economies, hurt businesses and affected American-born workers.

Industries that traditionally employ a large share of undocumented migrants saw the biggest impact, but employment in sectors like arts and entertainment also fell sharply as businesses cut staff due to decreased consumer activity.

The study estimated that between 51,000 and 297,000 of the lost jobs would have been held by American-born workers, as businesses that rely partly on immigrant workers scaled back operations for everyone, including US-born employees.

WTF do you know about math?
Apparently more than you, Slack Jaw. I can read a BLS chart. I mean, You’re the one bragging about your ‘math skills’ while confusing a **** localized study with national job creation. That’s not math...that’s you "misspeaking" about numbers. Basic math makes you very emotional. Your ex didn’t leave because of math, (of course not, there are many, more reasons), she left because she got tired of explaining it to you.

So, let's recap the Ignorance here...shall we.

Am I missing something?
Or is your source simply stating that those 668,000 jobs that were held by ILLEGALS are now jobs that can be taken by AMERICAN workers?
And you're OPPOSED to that?

Get it through your thick liberal head that a job is NOT LOST simply because that employee has been grabbed up and thrown out of the country!  THAT JOB DOESN'T VANISH, you idiot!  It's merely now open for a LEGAL American worker to take!  And if you believe otherwise, you're proving once again that you have no clue how a business operates!  You apparently think that business owner will sit there wringing his hands with woe instead of hiring a replacement.  While we have an unemployment rate of 4.2% currently, that means we have MILLIONS of workers looking to take that job!
Why don't YOU apply?  You certainly wouldn't be missed here!

Here is some basic math for you Johnny...

8% was the 2022 peak. Today it’s around 4%. Inflation is down ~48% from the peak under biden...We all survived those times, Johnny. Gas isn’t five bucks. Inflation isn’t 8%. Food prices aren’t jumping every time you blink. The rest of us are living in the present, where things have actually calmed the hell down.

So yes, things were higher under Sniffer...gas, groceries, rent, electricity, cars, all of it. 2022 will be compared to. Today isn’t perfect, but we’re not living in the $5‑gas, $7‑eggs, everything‑is‑on‑fire era.

Look, I'm not saying 2022 was the Great Depression...but let’s not pretend it wasn’t the closest we’ve come in our lifetime. Forty‑year‑high inflation, $5 gas, record food prices, supply chains collapsing, and the Fed slamming the brakes.

You can't prove me wrong about inflation being 8% under your "daddy" biden.

OK genius, so explain it to me.
Doesn't your post indicate that those 668,000 jobs were held by illegals who have been summarily deported?
And doesn't that mean that those business owners will now be hiring LEGAL replacements for them?

Show me where I'm wrong, asshole!

So you're stupidly trying to claim that those employers WILL NOT hire new workers to replace those who have been deported?
Is that what a dope like YOU would do if a few of your workers quit, retired, died, or were criminals who ICE deported?
Are you saying you'd simply close down your business and give up?

OK stupid, let's go over this.
There are approximately 162.77 million Americans working as of last month, and approximately 59% of those working Americans change jobs each year.
That comes out to over 96 MILLION people seeking a different job each year, and a dope like you doesn't think that ANY of them will take ANY of those 668,000 new jobs that have opened up because those workers have been deported.

How can you be so dumb to believe those 668,000 jobs will never be filled again?
