In July, 2008, Obama wrote an opinion piece in the NYT that essentially obliged Scrub to provide a time line for withdrawal.

Well OK !  So, Trump finishes the job, and:  1)  Destroy dozens of key bridges, 2)  Dozens of key Power Plants, 3)  Their Oil processing capability, 4)  ALL the other targets that would cripple the Islamist's that U.S. intelligence folks have accumulated over the last couple months, and 5) Actually start to TAKE OUT the IRGC rank & file, as WELL as their leadership ?

I'm SURE the U.S. has been hoping the Islamist's would come to their senses...  BUT, I think we MIGHT JUST be at that inflection point.  UP until NOW, Iran could have come back strong pretty quickly (except for their Nuclear Programs)...
