Slack Jaw… you didn’t ‘survive’ lacrosse...you survived being too scared to play soccer. Quit the whining. You got knocked out once and you’ve been telling the story ever since. You’re bragging about a bruise from a sport where the equipment looks like it was designed to catch butterflies. You’re not proving lacrosse is tough...you’re proving you’d have folded the first time a soccer cleat kissed your shin at 20 mph.Blackvegetable » 14 Jun 2026, 7:40 am » wrote: ↑ Why are you even here?

Red Bull keeps politics out of sports.. They should be separated.. Government is not for entertainment purposes only. With the graphite shafts, college kids can generate 100 mph. A long stick can fling it 60+ yds.

While the total mileage may seem comparable to a light jog, the exertion is incredibly high-intensity. A midfielder's distance is largely broken down into explosive bursts, with numerous 20- to 50-yard sprints, rapid changes of direction, and quick decelerations to transition between offense and defense.

That’s cute. Really. I’m sure the Women’s Lacrosse Safety Squad gave you a gold star. But honestly? I’m not losing sleep over a sport where the big danger is getting tapped by a stick or bonked by a rubber ball. If people want to act like that’s some epic battle, good for these ****...But me, I’m not going to pretend it’s hardcore. I just don’t care about the drama of that sissy little game.Blackvegetable » 15 Jun 2026, 6:03 am » wrote: ↑ A).I helped coach my daughter's team. B) women's sticks don't have "pockets"...they're lighter, the shafts thinner. Non-goalies are penalized for putting themselves in a position to be hit by a shot on net.
Women’s lacrosse has one of the highest concussion rates of any sport, with concussions making up roughly 20% to 40% of all reported injuries. The injury rate sits between 3.9 and 5.1 concussions per 10,000 athletic exposures, primarily caused by impacts from the stick or ball rather than player-to-player collisions
