Jesus has already paid my debt. As a Christian, I bear no debt to anyone, particularly not on ethical grounds.

Oh you mean here? Whoops. My bad. LOL. Sorry, I thought you referring to my 2.5 billion number.

I don't think there are any other members here. Jerra is, but he doesn't believe in the Old Testament, which is problematic in the Christian faith.

Genetic Origin of Displacement. Conception, not compromise between ideas after birth.

I listened to this rabbi talk about how many Americans want us to cut ties with Israel. He said that any country that receives the Jews are blessed. That's why America has so much wealth. However, if they reject the Jews, then those blessings are gone. America will collapse.

How do you reason with such delusions?

Staying honest about what you became since conception. Citizens of realities stay on scripted outcomes in history protecting the world staged events happening daily here.

the only one's that care are people who believe and those who have a hard time tolerating other people's beliefs

Matthew 917 Nor is new wine put into old [a]wineskins [that have lost their elasticity]; otherwise the wineskins burst, and the [fermenting] wine spills and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine is put into fresh wineskins, so both are preserved.”Read full chapter

To me those are small details that I am sure have a logical explanation. I am not inclined to study every inconsistent detail that may not be inconsistent. They just appear to be at the surface. There are many scholars who could probably reconcile those contradictions. I am more concerned about the essence of Christ.

You don't. Just like you can't reason with people that Christ is not pro genocide.

it is not a small detail, it is a commandment. And yes there are those who will say he did not mean what he said, and that is a big part of the problems we are having today.

What is our status?  Are we not also the chosen people?

This misconception undermines Jesus and, within Christianity, it distorts the Christian faith. The current Netanyahu administration has motivated Christians to endorse acts of genocide. The very individuals whose forebears crucified Jesus are now utilizing him as a symbol for genocide.

Jews do not accept Jesus as their Messiah, yet they will assert to you, as a Christian, that the Messiah is Jewish. Indeed, but I respond, "your ancestors were responsible for his death."

MIKE HUCKABEE, I OWE NOTHING! Huckabee asserts that we possess an eternal moral obligation to the Jewish people.

What on earth?

An eternal moral obligation to the Jewish people?

Jesus has already paid my debt. As a Christian, I bear no debt to anyone, particularly not on ethical grounds.

This notion of an eternal moral obligation must cease IMMEDIATELY
That's quite the fascist attitude you have there!

What if the Jews hadn't killed Jesus and the human Son of God had died of old age? Would the New Covenant have been fulfilled?

This could be what Huckabee was referring to. I have no idea.

Trust me, I have more questions than answers!

The Old Testament does not explicitly state that the Jewish people would kill the Messiah. Instead, the Jewish scriptures prophesied that the Messiah would suffer and be handed over to Gentiles (nations outside of Israel) to be put to death

The killing (crucifixion) of Christ marks the transition to the New Covenant. His death fulfilled the Old Covenant (the Mosaic law) and his shed blood served as the ultimate, atoning sacrifice that established the New Covenant between God and humanity.

The New Covenant: Instituted at the Last Supper and sealed by Jesus's death on the cross, this covenant is based on faith, grace, and the forgiveness of sins through Christ.

A commandment? Nothing about wine is in the 10 commandments. Also I doubt any serious Christian theologian would claim that Christ never meant what he said.

At least people still remember what Jesus said.

Trump has forgotten stuff he passed already.

I don't know. I really just don't focus on these things. I don't think it contradicts who Christ is and his sacrifice. Like I said, I am certain that if you research what theologians say about it, then you will receive a satisfactory answer.
