A record 25.2 million adults under 35 lived with their parents in 2025, according to new research from Realtor.com®. That’s nearly 1 in 3 young adults and higher than even the pandemic-era count—but the more surprising finding is just how many of them were working. “Roughly 70% of 25- to 34-year-olds living with parents are employed,” says Hannah Jones, senior economist at Realtor.com and author of the report. “That share held steady even as the overall co-residence rate has climbed—meaning the growth is coming from working adults, not people waiting to find jobs.”
The rabbi has WW3 up his sleeve to cull your sons and daughter. The war needs to be fought NOW, not in 20 years

Just reverting back to the way humans have lived since the dawn of time. Multi-generational homes were the norm for eons
So? Why are we going backwards?
Money printing, banker class, unrealistic expectations, stupid people.

---------------Agreed ever since Covid finding white kids to do physical labor is 100% impossible. By physical I mean push this object off the truck, go set it up for customer. I start high schoolers @ $16. No takers. All Hispanics who end up on salary because they are competent and add peace of mind. White kids are all working at the smoke shops, staring at their phone making under $10. Working at a car wash, holding a sign… for less than $10. Anything that’s easy and simple it seems.
It's call DEBASEMENT. If you think the Boomers and "American Protestants" caused this, you're ignorant of economics and Fed Policy. Go read "The Creature from Jekyll Island" (it's a BIG book so you'll probably pass), If that's too BIG for you, read "The Richest man in Babylon". ANYONE, even stoner Gen Z and Millennial losers, can become financially independent.
Several bums in my town over 35 live with parents and that's how they like it. Unemployed and dont bother. One pretends to be a "farmer" on grandpa's land but too lazy to do ant avtual work. He has an $80k poli sci degree and runs for office every few years. A committed socialist
Orange JEWlius has added more to the national debt than BO, Biden, and Bush. Boomers need to take their coof boosters and perish. The worst generation in the history of mankind: brains of fat that elected some of the most scumbag humans to ever walk the earth.
Liar
--------GFY ******. Orange JEWlius added nearly 8 trillion in his first term and almost 3 trillion thus far. 11 trillion is more than BO, Biden, or Bush. Sorry facts get in the way of you MAGA-loids. https://www.us-debt-clock.com/presidents
I generally don’t comment on Mike Snyder’s Chicken Little “Sky is Falling!” articles, but he’s right on this topic. I pity young people today. They are on the *** end of the greatest Ponzi scheme in history - the Federal Reserve System - and they will be the ones who have to rebuild civilization once this destructive form of usury finally brings it all crashing down.
once upon a time the government of this country viewed it's own people as God's chosen ones but that wasn't kosher
Commercial property...bud you should've sold that **** years ago and went ALL IN ON THE AI TRADeMoved in with my dad when my mom died 2020. 39. No shame. Will inherit house. Spent my youth putting money into family business. Generally runs itself now. Thought I was smart saving up for a 2nd warehouse in past few years. Never thought Houston would become the overpriced illegal infested commercial property ****hole it’s become in past 10 years. I cannot compete individually with networks of Indians pooling their resources buying every vacant lot.

Wonder if housing is figured into this amount Boomers give to their kids?

I have my own theory. The blame doesn't solely lie on the politicians. Yes, obviously they instigate it all. However, we need to back up one step. These leaders in Washington have been voted in for several terms. Some will serve one term, but usually they serve multiple terms. Congress has a history of having an atrocious approval rating. Even down to 13% one time. Yet, we keep voting the same ones in until they are old and senile.
Theory: The people have lowered the bar for candidates to win elections. We sent a message that one does not need to earn public trust to get into office. Just talk convincingly, say the right things at the right time, and you are in.

my kids knew from the first monies they received as gifts that if they wanted something, we made them participate in the purchase, cluing them in on how the world worked. I bought them their first car, but they worked, pd their gas and insurance and played sports. If their grades suffered, sports went…they’re both making more than we ever dreamed of…
my 6 yr older brother recently told me of the conversation he had with the old man after HS graduation. The old man asked him if he was going to college in the fall. Ted Cruz and Tim Cotton spend more time advocating for Israel than their own states.
Newsom is another POS in California, always raising taxes on the MIDDLE CLASS (making $120K - 700K/yr) while pretending he is targetting the "rich."

Keep in mind all of those occupations and hiring organizations are reliant on govt funding as well (schools, hospitals and clinics, defense contractors for aerospace and infrastructure contractors for civil)

Note I specifically included the underemployment rate as well because a case where someone who wasted 4 yrs and $70K of money to get a degree that doesn't produce $100K/yr in taxable income after maybe 2-3 years is a serious misallocation of societal resources even if they are employed doing something else (fruitful or not).
Arguing whether these people are "lazy" or not at that point sounds like JoO-ish propaganda and gaslighting.
