You are not addressing the issue to which you pretend to reply. You selected Buffalo's post, you hit the quote button, you blathered your position without responding to his evidence, and then you hit submit.jerrab » 01 Jul 2026, 9:11 am » wrote: ↑ -----------------------
The U.S. Constitution guarantees automatic birthright citizenship to virtually everyone born on American soil. Under the Library of Congress – Constitution Annotated (.gov) Citizenship Clause, any person born or naturalized in the United States and subject to its jurisdiction is a U.S. citizen, regardless of the legal status or nationality of their parent

Poor threadsmanship. I would say that he owns the thread and the OP has been refuted. The unanswered question wins the debate. His argument flummoxed you to the point that all you could do is restate your thesis.

This is not what is in the constitutionBuffalo » 01 Jul 2026, 6:42 am » wrote: ↑ Official transcript from the US Senate on May 30, 1866. A total travesty.
What the SCOTUS got wrong was the original intention of the 14 Amendment with regards to freed slaves only!!!

If that child is born of a mother that came to the US illegally, he/she/it should not automatically be a citizen of the US!!! Especially if she came here strictly for the purpose of **** out that kid...
And then you were answered with contemporaneous commentary by the author, and you bailed. You responded without addressing the argument - that's always an L.jerrab » Today, 3:20 pm » wrote: ↑ I posted the actual constitutional words along with the link.

So there is more going on than you are acknowledging.

Balugon was born in the US by chance to Nigerian parents. While visiting relatives here in the US, his mother was barred by the airline from returning to London due to her advanced pregnancy (7 months?). He returned to London at two months old and grew up there. But of course now having US citizenship as well.

Because you have never read the amendment, you glom onto the part your attention is directed to. The FULL text has an important conjunction: the word "and." It goes like this: AND SUBJECT TO THE JURISDICTION THEREOF.
Americans are subject to the jurisdiction of the united states. If you go to thailand to sex up 15 year olds, your actions may be perfectly legal THERE. But because you are an american, you are subjection to the laws HERE. And you can be prosecuted HERE for what you did over THERE.
The nigerians were subject to the jurisdiction of NIGERIA - and so was their baby, being nigerian. It is an offense to botht the plain language of the amendment and the contempoanously statedintent of the amendment to treat the amendment as if only the first clause exists.
You celebrate it because you hate white people and want to see more of-coloreds swamping us. What you will miss, dummy, is toilets that flush and lights that work. Because whatever in the **** you maye think about it, that's pretty much all white man stuff.
