It appears you missed my argument, since you did not address it.
A meme coin costs nothing and sells for something. Something for nothing has a tinny ring. There is every reason to suspect that institutional investors in a trump coin would have SOME kind of payback in mind. The suggestion I made and am making is that a meme coin seems as fit vehicle for influence peddling.

I was merely pointing out what Trump has done has already been done concerning the meme coin and perfectly legal.

Yeah, there's nothing FALSE about your argument. I'm all for changing that. Who's going to do it? I have no idea.
It may very well be time for a convention of the Sates and address our shortcomings in the Republic.
