She may have been mixing up the person with the company. His question wasn't how much taxes the 1% of the 1% pay in taxes. He asked how much they pay in federal taxes. Amazon, Walmart, Apple, and many other fortune 500 companies are notorious for paying $0.00 in federal taxes. That's true. Billionaires use their stocks from their company as collateral. They get loans for an insane amount of money to live off, but because that is debt, it isn't taxed. So, yes.
