They didn't teach it in school.  It doesn't make toxic plutonium.  We had them in the 1950's. It is dynamite tech for molten salt reactors.  Thorium is all over the place and needs no enrichment.

Are you ignorant of the fact that NY's Indian Point nuclear plant used thorium, and it was shut down five years ago because of the pressure coming from Democrat activists?  Or that the NY Shoreham nuclear plant was shut down for the same reason back in 1989?
Would YOU be willing to invest the billions of dollars it takes to build another nuke plant with that much opposition?

I am not a fan ov PV's.. They are only 27% efficient and create a bio hazard when expired. A buck a watt gets expensive.

I am a fan of using the heat at 70% efficiency.

It would probably cost more to acquire and build the reverse feed infrastructure, than it would garner savings…and what happens when you’ve added extra stress to the grid when the buses require recharging as well? what could go wrong?
