You ever think people are just trolling you back? Some people with high intelligence suffer from overconfidence about their own opinions. You really want to follow those types so your own opinions are more credible to you. I'd rally behind somebody just because people like you are against them. Big mouths can be a good barometer so I appreciate your output.
