The Wall Street Journal’s editorial board has eviscerated the “madness” behind President Donald Trump’s economic policy.

Trump, 80, enacted a nearly 100-year-old tariff act to hit Canada with 50 percent levies on a plethora of goods, all because our northern neighbors hit the U.S. with retaliatory measures over Trump’s original penalty from March last year.

The mess was described as “senseless” by the Murdoch-family-owned paper’s influential board. “The more Mr. Trump keeps swinging recklessly, the more Americans are likely to think there’s only madness in his tariff methods,” it wrote in an opinion piece on Tuesday.

But if you thought that the stupid stopped there....

Generic drug manufacturers must move production to the US or face a 100% import duty from August 2028, President Donald Trump said, threatening the supply of low-cost medicines that millions of Americans rely on.

The move is aimed at “reshoring” generic pharmaceutical production in the US, and companies that don’t build plants onshore will face levies that would then double, to 200%, in August 2029, Trump said in a social media post.

If imposed, the duty risks upending a global supply chain that keeps generic medicines affordable for Americans. These off-patent drugs run the gamut from everyday painkillers and antibiotics to cholesterol and cancer drugs, and they’re mostly produced at factories in India, Europe and China.

Yep!! It's a good thing NUMBERS do tell a REAL STORY, **** IDIOT!!

A group representing America's manufacturers on Tuesday released a report marking one year since the enactment of the 2025 tax law that includes examples of the legislation's impact on the manufacturing sector in all 50 states.

The One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) was passed by Republicans in Congress and signed into law by President Donald Trump last July, and the legislation contained a number of provisions aimed at boosting the manufacturing industry – such as 100% expensing of newly built factories and immediate depreciation of machinery – and preventing tax hikes.

The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) released an analysis that estimated the number of jobs protected by the provisions of the OBBBA, along with the amount of economic growth and wages it preserved. It also chronicled how a manufacturer in each state used the tax law.

"Tax policy is far more than numbers on a spreadsheet and these stories – across all 50 states – show the real-world impact of pro-growth policies that have given manufacturers the confidence to invest, hire, raise wages and expand facilities," said National Association of Manufacturers CEO Jay Timmons.

I guess there is a REASON Donald Trump is the leader of the Free World, and YOU, YOU spend your life posting BS on this 2-bit site !

Canada has cast it's lot... and it has done it with CHINA !!  Carney went over to China and made all sorts of trade deals with China, that theoretically could turn Canada into a transit stop, for Chinese "STUFF", before it's then moved into the U.S.A.  I don't think Trump is going to let that happen for TWO REASONS:

1)  The U.S.A. is not going to make China RICH ( the same nation who has spent BILLIONS trying to SUBVERT American elections)... by letting them sell BILLIONS of $$$ worth of products, laundered thru Canada ! and...

2)  The U.S.A. is not going to make Canada RICH (the same nation (moving toward Socialism) that REFUSED common sense controls of Canadian goods into America)... by letting them USE China as a TOOL to HELP THEM get back at the U.S.A. !!

That said, THIS COULD ALL be fixed VERY QUICKLY... JUST FIRE Carney, and get someone in charge in Canada that is MORE of a Democratic Capitalist, than a Totalitarian Socialist !!  BUT, funding the development of a NEW Marxist Socialist PROXY state on America border... is NOT acceptable !!
AMERICA, and AMERICANS, NEED to WAKE up… There is NOTHING “Democratic” about the CURRENT American “Democrat Party”! THEY are more an amalgamation of Totalitarian Marxists, Socialists, Communists, and Globalists… who are BENT on TAKING, and then KEEPING power... & where ultimately the American PEOPLE will have NO SAY AT ALL in how we are GOVERNED... and our "Democracy" will be DEAD!!

Which of the following is the best example of shifting the burden of proof?

 A. Making a claim and then providing evidence to support it.
B. Asking someone to clarify what they mean before responding.
C. Copying a claim from the internet, refusing to defend it, and then demanding that everyone else prove it wrong.
D. Changing your opinion after better evidence is presented.

I am going to paste the following along with the question. It just saves time.
you are making a "survivorship bias" fallacy. And **** you if you think I am going to define that for you. "
Do you see the bold part? That was my claim. The second half of it? That is not a claim.

I did my job and proved my claim. I gave you links and supported my thesis...which you ran from. That second part? I am under no obligation to go over vocab with you. That is a term that anyone who claims to have knowledge of statistics should know. Your ignorance of basic vocab is not my duty to rectify. That is on you.
