These things happen in red,blue and purple states. Mass shootings is one of the things that America is famous for.
My question is where was the good guy with a gun? Idaho is one of most gun friendly states there is. You'd think there would have been someone there that was packing. Who knows,maybe there was and they fled. Some people only will defend themselves under direct threat or cornered. A lot of gun owners will. And it's the prudent thing to do.
I'd like to think if I were in a place and gunfire erupted and I had a chance to engage the shooter I would. A few years ago a gunman walked out of a restroom with an AR 15 and started shooting. A young man was in the food court with his girlfriend. He could have gotten himself and his girlfriend out to safety but instead he stood up,yelled for everyone to get down and started firing at the guy from 40 yards away with his 9mm. Glock G19. He killed the guy. His last name was Dickinson,can't remember his first name but there is a pistol drill now named the Dickinson drill. Reliable hits on target are tough with a 9mm. at 40 yards. That young man is a hero,he didn't waiver and took a chance the guy would zero in on him. He defended a lot of strangers from being killed that day.

Active Shooting situations are life changing.. One way or another.

I pray for a world where firearms aren't required.  But I guess I better get equipped before suck *** delays the election.

Great reason to arm yourself. Those poor people sitting in their car were just gunned down. If I am siting in my truck and see a guy with a rifle walking toward me, I am shooting first. I may not win the battle, but I am going down fighting.

That guy who shot the mass shooter should get the Medal of Freedom and a lot of publicity.

It is rare for a Black or Hispanic  perp to be on any given segment.

It's  almost exclusively  all whites.

You ignore per capita crime.  And almost every tragedy that makes the news is in a red state..

Witness footage and reports show a civilian armed with a handgun outside the restaurant exchanging gunfire with the suspect in an attempt to stop the attack.

The Aftermath:
