For your information Mr. 4 FINRA certificate idiot:
The two main types of bracket creep are:•
Inflation-Induced Bracket Creep:
This occurs when high inflation drives up nominal wages (the dollar amount on a paycheck), but real wages (actual purchasing power) remain unchanged. Because the tax brackets do not adjust for inflation, the individual is pushed into a higher tax bracket, resulting in a higher tax burden despite having no real increase in wealth.
• Real Earnings-Induced Bracket Creep:
This happens when an individual's real income increases due to a promotion, career advancement, or increased productivity. Even if tax brackets are perfectly indexed to inflation, the genuine growth in real earnings pushes the taxpayer into a higher marginal tax rate, increasing their overall tax liability.
You can STFU about NOW.
There are plenty of idiots just like you here in Colorado that will vote for the progressive tax schedule over the flat tax rate.
Total idiots!
What a duh...you didn't creep into it, you arrived by increasing your income, placing you in a higher bracket..
Colorado is very likely considering it because its demographics have changed .
It is far more California than Kansas...those with money demand a different level of government services and a progressive tax system more equitably distributes the load.
