“Astonishingly, President Trump and his aides were caught unprepared when Iran, under air assault from the United States and Israel, retaliated by targeting shipping in the Persian Gulf region and specifically through the Strait of Hormuz. Military planners have pointed out for decades that the waterway—through which one-fifth of the world’s oil and liquefied natural gas passes—is highly vulnerable to Iranian assault. But the Trump administration acknowledged in classified briefings, CNN reported last night, that it did not make provisions for a closure because officials assumed that such a move would hurt Iran more than the United States.

In its failure to anticipate Iran’s reaction, the administration ignored a dynamic that former Defense Secretary James Mattis, a first-term Trump appointee, was fond of pointing out: Once hostilities begin, ‘the enemy gets a vote.’ U.S. leaders have drastically underestimated the Iranian regime’s ability to survive, adjust, and strike back. Just two weeks into a war that began at a time of the president’s choosing, the U.S. appears uncertain about what to do next.”

Donald Trump ignored several intelligence warnings about the potentially disastrous consequences of launching a war against Iran, according to a report.

Details of an Oval Office meeting in February, leaked to the Wall Street Journal, reveal that the president sought advice on whether an all-out attack to dismantle Iran’s nuclear program and force regime change could work.

During the meeting, then-Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard told Trump that a Middle East conflict would see Iran close the crucial Strait of Hormuz shipping route, cause oil and energy chaos across the world, and that killing Iran’s supreme leader would result in a replacement who would push harder for Tehran to acquire nuclear weapons.

Trump had also received similar warnings from top military leaders that a war on Iran would result in multiple deaths and a severe dwindling of U.S. munition stockpiles. Despite this, Trump joined Israel in launching an attack on Iran on Feb. 28, with each of the predictions surrounding the conflict coming true.

An Iranian drone barrage slammed into the CIA station in the Saudi Arabian capital, Riyadh. Foreign operatives also targeted a secondary American intelligence facility situated in eastern Iraq, pummelling key intelligence assets early in the conflict.

Iran has launched more than 2,000 missiles, drones and airstrikes during the war, hitting at least 20 U.S. government sites across eight countries. These strikes were aided by satellite surveillance imagery handed over from Russia and China, as well as electronic intelligence from Vladimir Putin’s regime

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has vowed to hit the U.S. with the same tariffs that Trump has imposed on it, unveiling a list of nearly 900 goods that will be taxed at 25 percent to 50 percent starting in September—and toilet paper is on the list.

That will likely raise the price of a household staple that already rose because of Trump’s second-term tariffs. Procter & Gamble, the maker of Charmin toilet paper, said last summer that the “Liberation Day” levies alone forced it to raise prices on its paper products by 25 percent

The Democratic Party seems intransigent on their position of keeping the party ‘woke,’ detached, exclusionary, and totally insane.

Shut the **** up, *******.

The woman said other people were present, but she couldn’t recall who. Trump asked them to leave the room, then said “something to the effect of, ‘Let me teach you how little girls are supposed to be,’” according to the interview notes. Trump then unzipped his pants and put her head “down to his penis,” she recalled in the interview. She said she “bit the **** out of it.” In response, she said he pulled her hair and punched her on the side of her head.
