I asked AI an intentionally leading question:

Q - "How many years were the NAZI's "good" before they went bad and started ww2?"

 A - They were never “good” in the moral or democratic sense. The Nazis came to power on January 30, 1933, and Germany invaded Poland on September 1, 1939—about 6 years and 7 months later, triggering World War II.  The Nazi dictatorship was already persecuting Jews, political opponents, disabled people, and other groups during those six years.  It also dismantled democracy, rearmed Germany, remilitarized the Rhineland in 1936, annexed Austria in 1938, seized the Sudetenland, and occupied the rest of Czechoslovakia in March 1939.
     So “before they started WWII” doesn’t mean they were good for six years; the war was an escalation of an oppressive and expansionist regime that had been dangerous from the start.
