If you're relying on what trump says, you're schizophrenic. However many times you can show him saying he doesn't, that many times I can show you him saying that he does. 

I agree with your conclusion - though I curl my lip and sneer at how you arrived.

The reason trump wants that strait closed is that it starves the east and it forces europe to buy american at five times the price.

Well, "verified" is a funny word. I can tell you that most of the world understands what trump is doing precisely as I described: He closed the strait on purpose, AFTER bullying/cajoling/.bribing the EU to systematically pressure all of the european countries to stop buying russian gas.

So, their usual vendor has to ply the barbary coast to deliver. Essentially, they CAN'T deliver. No one will ensure the ships. And the irananians will sink them. So, Europes OTHER source of petro products - their source besides russia - is gone with the wind, same as russia. You will recall we blew up their pipeline, just in case germany wanted to change its mind - yes?

No russian gas. No middle eastern gas., We are left with american gas - either produced upon these sunny shores or stolen from venezuela. 

The decline of the dollar and the rise of the east is inevitable. Empires fade, and when they do there are tell-tale signs. The US is NOT going gently into that good night. It is raging against the dying of the light.

Russia was supposed to fail, and we were supposed to be drinking that free bubbleup, and eating that rainbow stew. The EU countries would have got a glutton's feast. Not what WE got, but a hell of a deal. When russia refused to fail, the game got dark. Now we are feasting on europe - our own vassals.
