Here is my reasoning, and I invite you to critique it:
In the adult world, presidents wounded by rifles are covered in bodyguards who place themselves BETWEEN the president and the active shooter.
If you google me on this, you will learn that I am right. A wounded president is never allowed to leap up and pump his fist at the active shooter while yelling a political slogan.
That happened - he did that. But it was thayatah. A short con. A grift.
There was no shooter - just a murdered patsy. The actual shooter got who he was aiming for. And it wasn't Trump.
