Look, you only have to obey laws printed in english. You only have to obey court orders issued and printed in english. Every government agency is required to produce its entire work product in english. They CAN - right now only - also tag it with tagalog or korean or spanish or whatever minority languages they want, up to and including swahili. But only english is required, and IF THE LEGISLATION YOU REFER TO AS "ENGLISH AS THE OFFICIAL LANGUAGE" EVER PASSES, it will become illegal for those agencies to accomodate non-english speakers. 

You've been told - so just stop.

Those who push this stupidity are doing it to make the lives of non-english speakers harder. If it passed, it would be a firing offense and a potential crime for a government worker to speak to a citizen in anything but english. THAT is what you are advocating for. 

And that "lack of legislation" ****? We have an official language and we have four million laws. We don't need another. Especially not one designed as a poison pill to hurt linguistic minorities. You democrats are such haters and rednecks it's unbelievable.

Pilots are required to speak English globally when flying..

The youtubes come up with subtitles that look like they fell of the Roswell craft.. I have to switch them to English.

They sure help learning another language.   Sometimes I use Spanish Subtitles for English Spoken or vice versa. Eapanol es un lengua segundo para mio..

Mrs. Shuts down any foreign Netflix  with subtitles.. But she watches where the English  is dubbed over and doesn't  match the lips.. I can't  stand it..
