If your income rises by half and prices double, that's a 25% pay cut. The income is impressive, but what you can do with it is depressing.DeezerShoove » Yesterday, 11:47 pm » wrote: ↑ Wages increase but that really doesn't change anything for fixed income folks.
Except for allowing prices to rise incrementally yet again.
I've had this discussion more than once with fixed income people.
That $200 set of tires (10 hours of work @ $20/hr) put into the retirement account 20+ years ago.
That set costs $1000 now.
The question is whether real return on the $200 in 20 years was 500%.
Do you REALLY believe I would let a gay old queen tell me what prices are, fruity?Beekeeper » Today, 7:02 am » wrote: ↑ Now the PROBLEM with your claim is that GDP is UP ~3.4%. Which means, spending isn't an issue either.
What's the ISSUE is that the MSM propagandists have YOU thinking that there is a problem, when there isn't.
Incomes are UP above inflation, spending is UP, unemployment is DOWN and steady, and inflation is cooling from the BYEdumb days of massively loss of value. It's NOT perfect, which you seem to think is achievable, but it's a FAR CRY from what you are been fed that things are worse than ever!!
It's how you get MANIPULATED, moron!
