If he was having visions in 1929, soon could be yesterday for Clarabelle.

Maybe Sole will straighten this confusion out for us.

Well, the PROBLEM you have is....

Current Status: At 0.80%, the curve is normal/positive (upward sloping), meaning long-term yields exceed short-term 3-month yields

So that sucks for anything you are trying to claim here, cupcake!!

Do you actually believe you are the ONLY person alive that knows that this "means"?? Seeing how NO RECESSION/DEPRESSION actually happened.

The PART you left out of your diatribe is that SHORT TERM YIELDS higher than long term happened UNDER YOUR BOY BYE-dumb!! And that when TRUMP TOOK OVER, the yields on LONG TERM BONDS began to INCREASE, which they should.

So, that can ONLY mean one thing- Trump's economic plan is MUCH BETTER FOR AMERICA'S ECONOMIC OUTLOOK THAN YOUR **** PLAN!!

How's that BITCH SLAPPING FEEL NOW, ASSWIPE??

Did that hurt??

Facts over fiction:

The curve has largely steepened and returned to a normal, upward-sloping shape (with 30-year yields higher than 1-month and 2-year yields), following the historic inversion period that lasted from late 2022 through late 2024.

The U.S. Treasury yield curve is not currently inverted; instead, it has been steepening following recent Federal Reserve policy decisions and persistent inflation pressures

Key Yields (Late October 2026):
• 2-year Treasury yield: ~4.60% to 4.75%
• 10-year Treasury yield: ~4.94% to 5.07%
• 30-year Treasury yield: ~5.30%

Recession Signals vs. New Normal: While a historically inverted yield curve was viewed as a classic precursor to recessions, analysts note that the current environment reflects structural fiscal and supply dynamics rather than an imminent economic contraction.

Of course...

The curve inverted in 22 for rather obvious reasons..

The curve has flattened because current inflation is persisting at high levels..it's not because the long end is coming down. Absent the effects of the policies of Big *******, it SHOULD be upward sloping..

The current 2/30 yield curve spread is half its average since 1980...

HA!!

The curve inverted in 22 for rather obvious reasons... YEA, America in 2022 was on a road to becoming a FAILED NATION under Joe Biden... HIGH inflation, Low Growth, THAT was why America elected Donald Trump !

The curve has flattened because current inflation is persisting at high levels.. it's not because the long end is coming down...  ****... Inflation under Joe Biden peaked at 9%, and a HUGE % of the jobs were GOVERNMENT JOBS (talk about UNPRODUCTIVE)...  TODAY, we have $20 Trillion of foreign investment happening in America... and the JOBS will be REAL JOBS (not "Government jobs"... that's an oxymoron) and when those plants start hiring, and producing GOODS products & goods... THAT is when America REALLY BOOMS!  WE haven't even gotten there yet !

Absent the effects of the policies of Big *******, it SHOULD be upward sloping...  When all of the Trump initiated industry starts to come on line... REAL American Jobs will explode.  the GDP will EXPLODE, Unemployment will crater.  American Productivity will BOOM, the "deficit" will come down, and SO will inflation... THAT hasn't even started yet because much of the $20 trillion investment in America is JUST NOW coming on line !!

YOU are a COMPLETE IDIOT... AND YOU, need to GIVE IT UP !!

AMERICA, and AMERICANS, NEED to WAKE up… There is NOTHING “Democratic” about the CURRENT American “Democrat Party”! THEY are more an amalgamation of Totalitarian Marxists, Socialists, Communists, and Globalists… who are BENT on TAKING, and then KEEPING power... & where ultimately the American PEOPLE will have NO SAY AT ALL in how we are GOVERNED... and our "Democracy" will be DEAD!!

Is that what you call debunking?

Historical data show the longest time frame for a recession to start after  a YCI is less than 2 years. We are 4 years out now. The near term probability doesn't support LowIQTrash wishes.

The market-implied probability of a U.S. recession by the end of 2026 is very low, sitting at about 7.5% (meaning a 92.5% chance against an imminent recession) according to forecasting markets like Polymarket.

Federal Reserve Models: Official statistical models, such as the New York Fed’s Estrella and Mishkin recession probability model, place the risk of a downturn over the next year at around 13.88%, down from historical averages.

I'm starting to wonder why AI has an excellent track record of saying something completely different from our local experts.

nobody who does this for real stakes believed that the 2022 inflation spike would persist...it is why the iyc of 22 is irrelevant in the context of forecasting recession.

There was a time when people were convinced that Polymarket had predictive value.

Upon inspection, that turned out to be false...
