Read up a little to correct your ignorance. The economy has been in horrific shape for literally decades.

They are deeply hostile to the very economic policies that would save them.

it's being over run by immigrants who despise French culture and the French themselves. The French in Paris and other cities are afraid to ride much of the Metro for fear of harassment and violence.

Barring something extreme, it will be an collapsing Muslim country in 20 years.
